    Blackouts:

My first blackout was in January. I was getting ready for school when I started feel really weird. Everything was getting quieter and fading to black. I squatted down to lean on the counter for a few minutes, after a while I felt a bit better so I stood up and continued to lean on the counter. I turned around to finish what I was doing. Suddenly I woke up shaking in a cold sweat and curled around the toilet base. I didn't know what had happened. I managed to stand up and stumble towards my room. I found myself on my bed a few minutes later; my things were wrapped under the table legs. I finished getting ready and my father took me to the doctor. They said nothing was wrong, so we went to get food and run errands. I had punched a large hole in the wall with some part of my body. I found no bruise and had no pain, so I don't know what did it. I blacked out again one day in July. I was getting ready again and woke up on the floor. I went to an ENT and the found that I have impeccable hearing and a ninety-one percent depression in my right ear. I also got an MRI, but that proved useless. I feel that way fairly often. The best I can do is take some pills, find a way to cool down, and lay down until I feel better and it passes.

    Olive Garden:

Sorian, Oscar, Kitty, and I went to Olive Garden one night. Sorian was hitting on the waiter who thought Oscar was cute. Kitty was dancing around in her boots. We spent the evening pestering our waiter and trying to guess things about him. We'd all make a guess and then call him over to see who was right. We asked if we could steal the things. "Hey, hey, can we have this?' 'What about this?' 'Can I have this plate?' 'No, I just want the lamp?' 'The table, can I keep the table?' He was thoroughly weirded out. Oscar kept telling us all the places you could put your weed. We made mounds of empty sugar packets because the tea wasn't sweet enough. It was a fun night.

    Five Guys:

One Friday Jeremy, Bao, Pareesa, and I went to Fuve Guys for dinner. Pareesa ordered first and got her food last. We sat down and began to eat. About two minutes after that, Jeremy turned to me and said 'Hey Katrina, can I….nevermind then…' He wanted a bite of my burger, but it was already gone. We pressured Jeremy into eating all of the French fries which was a lunch bag full. He did it and we cheered. After we ate, we took a ton of pictures and doodled on their little papers. We made a Cum Love sign for Valentine's Day and hung it on their bulletin board. After dinner, we went back to my house to play Truth or Dare. I was too busy fixing my bangs when the interesting things happened.

    VMFA:

Sorian and I were invited by Masterson to a symposium lecture about Japanese art. The kids there were anime kids who were staring at us. A few of them tried flirting, and Sorian ended up chatting with one of the boys and exchanging contacts with. Masterson was terrified by my driving in the rain and a little unhappy with my music.

    Gaming:

We played Mario Party a lot in March. Kitty, Pareesa, and I made some chocolate peppermint ice cream one night and played it. There was a lot of crazy shouting. We had other people, including Hubby Bear, join us for these nights. We also played Gauntlet Legends one night with Sorian, Nuhad, and Pareesa. Pareesa kept taking my health items although I was dying so I kept yelling at her. At one point I shouted really loudly 'Why would you do that?!' and she was like 'that's not me, I'm dead.' Then I realized it was Nuhad, so I turned to her and repeated the question in the same manner. Hilarious.

    Dinwiddie:

Kitty and Alyx spent the night at my house so we could go to Dinwiddie in the mronign. We got lost because Kitty can't navigate or direct very well. We got there though. Jeremy was called to the front desk and we went to the principal's office. We 'forgot' our note, so she tried to call our school. Kitty's teacher wasn't there, so she asked if there was anybody else who could tell her that we weren't crazy killers or anything. I offered up 'O'Neal can tell you that!' So she talked to him and signed our nametags. We followed Jeremy for the rest of the day. We walked Purdie into the cafeteria so everyone would think he was hot shit. During the fire drill we were ogled and talked to Dougie. At lunch, everybody had to come talk to us. During the classes, people ignored their work to talk to us. One of the teachers crept in and asked if we were willing to come talk to her class because they were interested. We went next door so they could look at us and we told them our phony story about the drama project about a study of different school systems. As we walked through the halls people stared and talked to us. Everyone wanted to know about our shoes [two of the three pairs were mine and I suggested the purchase of the other]. One boy ran out and told us he was from yearbook and he wanted to take our picture. So we went with him and had our picture taken. Then he grabbed another camera and said 'now one for my Myspace.' We all laughed and posed again. Some substitute teacher tried to stop us in the hall and demanded to know who let us in dressed like that [our straps were narrow]. We showed her our visitor tags and she asked where we got them. We told her the front desk gave them to us and the principal signed them. She asked who let us in and we told her the principal. She asked which one and was said 'The Principal'. We showed her the signatures on the visitor pass and she told us our attire was inappropriate, but let us go. After school we went to get some ice cream. That was a fun little excursion. We got a bit turned around trying to leave, so we made a loop and tried again and managed to get home.

    Sorian's Room:

I helped Sorian clean and reorganize his room. It took us over sixteen hours and we're still not done. He keeps working on it little by little. It's getting better. We took out eight huge bags of trash and moved all of the furniture around. His father has agreed to pay to have his room redone. So I'm helping him design everything to be built and figure out what needs to be done. I'll help with the deconstruction, cleaning, construction of new furniture, assembling, and decorating of it as it progresses. We're transforming his bedroom into a modern and sophisticated space, redesigning the bathroom a bit, and converting the guest room into a studio space. A portion of the garage is going to be used as his workshop so I'll help with the drywall and organization of all of that as well. I have a penchant for organizing and cleaning almost as much as I love to decorate so I'm enjoying this.

    Going Away:

As a departing gift to the Art Department for taking such good care of us for so long, Sorian and I gathered a small amount of money [about a hundred dollars] to get a new refrigerator and microwave for them. My brother went with me and we spent all day trying to find the best deals to get both. We finally got them and we took them home. Sorian and I got the help of Randall to get them to the Art Department one morning. They were so surprised and excited. Masterson didn't want to accept them, but we insisted. Sorian and I set it all up for them and tidied the office a bit before leaving. This was our way of telling them that we really do love them and appreciate all that they've done for us. It's been a rough year for us and they've always looked out for us. They had to deal with the entire Art History class being caught cheating. I managed to escape from that and nobody has the heart to tell them. I felt bad wearing my regalia, but I couldn't bear to explain why I wasn't wearing it so I suffered. After that ordeal, we embarrassed them again during the AP exam. But, they still love Sorian and I, so we've all accepted those events for what they are and tried to rise above them.

    The Best of Times:

Sorian and I were hanging out one night. We decided to go to Sheetz to get some drinks, cigarettes, and such. We ended up with cigarettes, giant smoothies, and a huge bucket of fires. Cera and her friend were there so we all got our food and went to sit down. We sat there and chatted for about an hour. A church bus pulled up and a group of kids got off. They went to get food and we shouted at them about crazy things. The Bible Bus almost left a few kids behind. When we finally split, Sorian and I walked back to the front. Some boys tried to holla at me and asked Sorian how he 'got that [me]'. He told him he was just hot like that and we rolled. I waved and we continued on our way. After Sheetz, we went driving. We ended up in Montpelier. On the way there, we hit two dozen moths and went through all the stages of creepiness. We saw eerie looking deer and went around a misty curve. We were waiting for the guy with the chainsaw to jump out at us, but he didn't. We were followed by some guy for a while who pulled into 7-eleven after us. We turned around and headed towards home. We found ourselves at a stoplight where the boys beside us were trying to holla at me. I blew waved at them and we went speeding off blasting 'Gay Bar'. They raced us and I blew them kisses and shouted at them. We were doing eighty rolling down a forty zone. Later Sorian turned to me and asked 'Weren't those the boys from Sheetz?' They were indeed the same boys. We have decided this night of fun laughs and eeriness was the best night ever.

    The Second best of Times:

Sorian and I went on another trip. I invited him over for some nice grilled burgers and whatnot for dinner. We went to his house and chilled for a while watching crazy videos and movies. We had eaten dinner and pie and tiramisu and then I had the craving for some chicken. So we went off to find some food. We went to McDonald's and sat in the drive through fro a few minutes before realizing that they weren't open. So we went on our merry little way to find food. We passed another McDonald's who was obviously closed. We continued on in the storm, yes it was raining terribly, but we were hungry. We ended up at Wendy's. I just wanted fries, so Sorian ordered a bunch of food. They gave of way too many chicken nuggets and forgot one of the fries. We ate our food and watched the people on the street. Some crazy guy on a bicycle rode by and we laughed at him. We decided we wanted more food so we went back through to get more food. We sat there eating our French fries dipped in vanilla frosty and watched more people. We talked about all sorts of things and kept stealing each others sentences. After our laughs, Sorian dropped me off at my house afterwards. This was second best night ever.

    SAT Scores and JSRCC:

I paid sixty dollars to take my SAT's. After I did that, I paid nine fifty to have my scores sent to JSRCC. After waiting fifty days, I went to JSRCC to schedule classes, but they told me I needed placement tests or SAT scores. I called the College Board and they told me they were sent and should be there. So I called JSRCC and the lady told me that they didn't do that at that desk so she transferred me to a number that was no longer in service for that day, but I could leave a message. So I called again the next day and she told me she wasn't the person I needed to talk to and transferred me somebody else who told me I wasn't in the system but she could transfer me. Before I could say anything I was talking to somebody else who told me that she was too busy to help me but I could leave a message and she would call me back shortly. About a week later I went to the school and asked about it. I told them that I knew they couldn't do it at that desk but if they transferred me about three more times I might be close to verifying the location of my SAT scores. The lady laughed at me and I was like 'No. I'm serious'. Another lady asked what the problem was and I told her that I needed to verify that they had my SAT scores. She beckoned me towards the other end of the first desk I called about a week earlier and looked in her computer and told me that they didn't have them. Really? I just had to talk to the other end of the desk? I talked to a 'counselor' there and she told me that the SAT scores were sent on discs but they didn't have the disc to read them so they threw out all of the students' SAT scores. So, I had to pay six dollars to take my placement tests because my sixty-nine fifty was wasted on SATs so that I could get on with my college education. I finally finished all of that and almost got enrolled, but they screwed something else up and I didn't have permission codes to register and transfer into the culinary courses unless I made an appointment with my Culinary Advisor. I did that and she told me my scores would be uploaded by that night so I could register for basic academic classes, but that never worked. I finally managed to get into the culinary program and signed up for yoga in hopes that it would reduce my stress and not stab everybody I meet.
